Supermoto wheels completely change the character of your bike, but there are a few things worth checking before you order. This guide covers wheel sizes, what each package includes and which spacers to look out for.
1. Choose the rear width: 17x4.25 or 17x5.00
On our ready-made KTM supermoto wheels the front wheel is always 17x3.50. For the rear you can choose 17x4.25 or the wider 17x5.00. The width affects which tyre widths can be fitted, so check the tyre manufacturer's recommendation before choosing.
2. Wheels or a wheel set?
- Wheels include the front and rear wheel. Brake discs and sprockets are not included, so you can move your own parts over from your old wheels.
- Wheel set also includes a 320 mm brake disc with adapter, a 45T rear sprocket, a 220 mm rear brake disc and spacers. A set is the easiest option when you want everything at once.
If you buy wheels without a set, the same parts are also available separately: 320 mm brake disc and adapter, KTM 45T rear sprocket and KTM rear brake disc 220 mm.
3. Check the spacers
Standard spacers are 22 mm front and 20 mm rear. If your bike needs a 26 mm front spacer, contact us before ordering and we'll find the right solution.
4. Fitment
The 320 mm brake disc and adapter in the sets fit new KTM 125–530 cc models and all Stark Varg models (MX 1.0 / MX 1.2 / EX / SM). The 45T rear sprocket fits KTM 125–990 cc models from 1998–2026 as well as the Stark Varg. Each product page also has its own "Fits" list.
5. Want your own colours? Choose custom wheels
With custom supermoto wheels and the custom wheel set you choose the colours of the rims, hubs, spokes and nipples as well as the sizes. Every custom set is made to order, with a delivery time of approx. 4–5 weeks. State your bike's make, model and year when ordering.
6. Consider tubeless at the same time
When you're changing wheels anyway, it's a good moment to switch to tubeless tyres too. The tubeless kit is 10% off when bought in the same order as supermoto wheels. Read more in our article Tubeless conversion for supermoto.
